Power of My Rangers along with pRp/Lara Valor is known among PvPers (corrected line)

So is LuLu and Kuntz of Treacherous Empire (elite American guild). If I am not mistaken they invented IWAY (as joke build).

PvE players are NOT famous, maybe Lady Blue Steele is the exception. But you don't get famous for beating Thunderhead with 8 of your friends, especially if some of them are henchies.

PvP community tracks players just because that is the point of it. If you PvP you end up getting familiar with guilds and players, like iQ, Sarus, Kuntz, LuLu, Te, TT, Uni, etc. PvP is a lot more social and interactive with people.

Of course everyone has a different measurement what makes up "famous." Nevertheless, there are enough people who will consider those I have previously listed as "famous."

I would say the only people that are really famous are Anet reps like the Frog and Gaile

Power Of My Rangers is in fact a person currently without a guild who runs ranger spike and other builds in the halls but most players will not have heard of him apart from the occasional "Power Of My Rangers team has won a battle" ect

I dont think there are any famous players who are talked about in towns only some pvpers who are famous amongst other pvpers

Easiest way to become "famous" in the game is get a character to level 20 in presearing. You will be swarmed with people asking how you did it.

Empty Skillbars, iQ, Power of my Rangers those are some famous guilds i think.

This is kinda backwards because i cant remember his name

but there is the guy who had the first icy dragon sword. His name was in the guild wars update website.

Plus all the guilds that have pre-made pvp bulids after them.

It's not impossible. That's why I suggested her on the previous page. "God Antipowers" is a lvl 20 Monk in Pre-searing.

I dont think power of my rangers is a guild , he's just a well know pug leader I think - ive viewed a few of his hoh matches and his team always seem to spike perfectly every time - good leader.

Yes, just an individual. The earlier poster must have confused his teams with pRp (patient relaxed people) since they're always running ranger spike too

Just to put things in perspective in terms of 'fame,' I'm relatively new to hanging about the forums, but I've been playing GW since June.

And I recall only the name "Power of my Rangers" and thought it was a guild with a really silly name (which is only the reason I remember it at all).

So, ah, I'd wager that most of the non-forum junkies would be with me in saying that none of these people are actually famous per se... just the role models of a select few.
